Howard contributed 30 points, while Ogunbowale scored a game-high 33 points, which helped the Wings secure a victory.

Odyssey Sims' 24 points during the first three-quarters of the game had established a commanding 92-73 lead for the Sparks. Nevertheless, the Wings refused to concede, and Howard scored a jumper, and Ogunbowale sank two free throws to bring Dallas within single digits at 105-96 with 3:22 remaining.

Howard's three-point play resulted in a one-possession contest at 109-107 with 64 seconds remaining, while Ogunbowale followed with a layup and a 3-pointer[1].

Teaira McCowan subsequently tied the score with a jumper and gave Dallas the lead with a rebound basket with seven seconds remaining.

Howard buried a pair to give the Wings a three-point advantage, despite Stephanie Talbot making only one of two free throws for the Sparks.

The Sparks' seventh consecutive loss and ninth in their last ten games were sealed when Dearica Hamby's 3-pointer at the buzzer missed.

Rickea Jackson, a rookie, tallied 25 points, including six 3-pointers, while Sims led the Sparks with 26 points and ten assists off the bench. Hamby contributed 21 points and five assists to Los Angeles.

The Wings have now divided their four-game season series with the Sparks, and the victory marked the beginning of a five-game homestand.

Dallas initiated the stretch with its second victory in the previous eight games.
