A week after a tense exchange in which he threatened the hosts' employment over queries about the team's troubles, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones returned to 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday. The exchange took place after Jones threatened to harm the hosts' jobs. However, Jones did not apologize during his visit, despite the commotion surrounding him.

Jones responded, "I don't have anything to say about last week," because he was surprised by the amount of publicity the incident received. This was in response to a question concerning the incident. Furthermore, he underlined the significance of the weekly radio spots, comparing them to "pillow talk" for supporters interested in gaining an insider's perspective on the squad.

During the episode, Jones addressed the rumors that have been circulating about free agency Derrick Henry and explained why the Cowboys had never given the star running back any real consideration. Although Henry is having a career year, Jones claimed that he did not fit into our system, primarily because of difficulties with the salary cap. He explained that Henry's strengths would not be suited to the offensive approach the squad would be using.

Although he refrained from directly addressing the contentious conversation he had with the show's hosts, Jones appeared to be in a good mood. He even said, "I'm tickled to death that we have as much interest in this as we do." In the end, it appeared that Jones and the hosts had moved on from the incident that occurred the previous week and were instead concentrating on the squad's future strategies.
