Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a significant blaze at the Lineage Warehouse on Dynasty Drive, which was caused by an electrical short in the solar panel system installed on the roof. The incident, which occurred in the late afternoon, prompted a swift response from emergency services, with approximately 40 to 45 firefighters dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy smoke and flames emanating from the building's roof. Due to the intensity of the fire and the potential hazards associated with an electrical short in the solar panels, a second alarm was quickly raised, bringing additional resources and personnel to the site. Fire crews worked diligently for several hours to control the blaze, using both ground and aerial tactics to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjacent structures.

Despite the severity of the fire, all employees inside the warehouse were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The roof of the warehouse partially collapsed due to the damage sustained, but the fire was ultimately contained to the roof area, minimizing damage to the rest of the facility.

The cause of the fire has been determined as accidental, linked to an electrical fault within the solar panel system. Dallas Fire-Rescue officials have reminded businesses and property owners of the importance of regular maintenance and safety checks for all electrical installations, particularly those involving renewable energy sources like solar panels.

As the investigation continues, Dallas Fire-Rescue is also reviewing the incident to identify any additional safety measures that could be implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future. Meanwhile, cleanup and repair efforts are underway at the warehouse, with a focus on restoring operations as safely and quickly as possible.

The swift and effective response by Dallas Fire-Rescue highlights the readiness and capability of local emergency services to handle complex incidents involving both fire and electrical hazards.
