Dallas- The seventh annual Riverfront Jazz Festival, scheduled for Labor Day weekend at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, is expected to be the most successful yet.

The festival will feature an impressive lineup that extends beyond traditional jazz to include soul, blues, gospel, and R&B. This year's festival, which is organized by the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, will feature performances on three stages, including the 1,700-seat Bruton Theater and the iconic arena designed by George Dahl.

On Friday, August 30, festival attendees can anticipate a lively second-line party concert in the New Orleans style and a headline performance by the singer-rapper CeeLo Green. 

The weekend is set to be filled with unforgettable moments, and electrifying music as blues artist Fantastic Negrito and R&B legends Jeffrey Osborne and Ginuwine make appearances on Saturday, August 31. 

Organizers underscore the festival's dedication to showcasing a diverse array of musical talent, which reflects the community's rich cultural tapestry, as it commemorates its seventh year. 

The Riverfront Jazz Festival endeavors to establish an inclusive environment that allows attendees to appreciate a diverse array of genres and discover new artists by featuring a lineup that is appealing to a broad audience.
